On August 11, 2017, the Virginia Common Interest Community Board adopted an updated resale disclosure packet notice for Virginia Property Owners' Associations. The new notice can be found on the CICB website and contains language that informs prospective purchasers that the lot is subject to covenants and an obligation to pay assessments. This notice must be included in all resale disclosure packets for POAs.
